Our business in Sin City concluded, we are both happy to be on our way north.  The last couple of days in Las Vegas were pretty miserable.  The temperature soared one day to 101 and the next day the wind got up to around 30 knots.  It was very much like a blast furnace.

Thankfully we are a little farther north now visiting some old friends in St. George, UT.  We've been through St. George several times in the past but never had a reason to stop and take a look around.  It really is a pretty little town with a lot to offer in the way of hiking, climbing and other outdoor activities.  We're glad we stopped.  Lee and Lea are gracious hosts and gave us a very nice tour of their town.  We hope to return in the future.

Livi seems pretty contented.  Tomorrow we leave for points north.  We plan to stop at a nice state park in Heber City, UT for the night, then on to Star Valley, WY the following day where we will drag our feet for a week or so before heading over the mountain through the pass between Alpine and Hoback Junction and on into the park.

Hasta..
